I'm running Xenial on a Lenovo ideapad Z 370,which has an Atheros AR 9285 wireless network adaptor (PCI express rev 1). Most other puppies get WLAN0 up, but not this one. What can I do, other than throwing it away and buying a new one?

I have a new TC Acer 875, and, after MUCH fussing, I was able to get it to run a CD of fossa. That's fine, but I've tried to do a frugal install on exiting, and there's nothing there.
