Re: Non-usrmerge Kernel 6.9.1 with AUFS and Overlayfs Built In.

Possibly must rename the fdrv to -> fdrv_fossapup64_9.6.sfs. For it to load correctly in F96-CE and Fossapup64's

Re: logging

There should be some pretty good logs in /var/log.

For even more detailed logging, if it is possible, install socklog and start that. It will log many parts of the system and hardware operations.

Re: how DO we go about building a Puppy using Woof-CE?

Today's woof-CE can automatically resolve dependencies (see https://github.com/puppylinux-woof-CE/w ... _specs#L96) but only few existing build configurations use it (pretty much only those I wrote). This simplifies the task of writing the package list because you can just specify the toplevel pack...

What happens when the machine is rebooted and Ventoy restarted?

@Clarity knows a lot about booting Puppy Linux ISO's on Ventoy on USB drive. He will see this and help us.

This has a syntax error,

Code: Select all

rox -p=Default

it should be:

rox -p default &

I have also done this before, wiping out the pinboard. The original is always in the root file system SFS.

What were you doing when or before it happened?
