Re: sfs_load puts extrasfs at the bottom of the stack. How can I move them up?

@taersh a script will run after it is placed in /root/Startup directly after the sfs is loaded, without a reboot?

That would be great if the SFS-Load-on-the-fly would execute a script directly during the load process without rebooting!
I'll have experiment again.

It does run at an acceptable pace! Using Firefox 85.01 32 bit to read and post to the forum right now. The browser will hang the system a moment if I have 6 or more tabs open simultaneously with some web pages being really heavy like Facebook or Slack. It froze up but straighten itself out after a ...

Re: dpkg_apt_multiuserPAM for Puppy (experimental)

Linux-PAM is a system of libraries that handle the authentication tasks of applications (services) on the system. http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/bionic/man7/PAM.7.html basically it is for multi-user systems, like those that do not run regularly as "root"! (Like Ubuntu, Debian in most cases ...

it would be worth trying the concept out. It would be "lego-ish" and one could start off with really minimal blank slate like what is possible with Void Linux but it would be a Puppy Linux.
