@vin/@Marv :-
Possibly over-complicated? Maybe it would be simpler just to revert to creating the PROFILE within the browser directory.....and leave it at that? What do y'all think?
Mike. ;)

I don't think it is overly complicated.
In fact, the way you have structured it makes sense.

@vin :- Two things. One; you're obviously not running my portable version, because it doesn't use a script called "Ungoogled_Chromium.sh". Where did you get this browser from, please? This is your very own browser :-) I have added "Ungoogled_Chromium.sh" in it, which contains this code ---> cd /opt ...

Re: Do Any of You Use Puppy on Modern Hardware?

I am using xenialpup64 7.5 on Asus X55C (Intel core I3), 4 GB memory. Reasons --- 1) Less taxing on RAM (uses just ~ 130MB while idling). So the remaining RAM can be utilized for other memory-savvy operations 2) Highly configurable (you can just see 'system' & 'setup' submenus) 3) It can be also ...

I have 3 partitions viz. sda1, sda2, sda3. sda1 contains puppy. On startup, of course sda2 & sda3 aren't mounted. I need to manually mount them on each bootup.
