NetBeans IDE is a tool.
I've used it when I coded java.
How to set it up/install in puppy, is a different story.
Maybe it's available through puppy package manager.

I was researching and comparing to find the ‘best’ browser,
or text based. it’s a lost battle. use the latest version of firefox, chromium etc.

in chromium there is noscript ...

I was using different browsers in the past.
Now I use completely Chromium. there are several advantages,
but it's most ‘personal feel of using it’ (as someone would say design ).
that i prefer over firefox.

the problem with no matter what brower, it uses huge amount of ram,
unbelievably ridiculous ...

Here is the script file you can click on to run.

Had to add .zip to file name, so it would attach.
Remove .zip from name.
Right click on file.
Select properties.
Give exec permission.
So you can click on it, to run.

Beautiful.

To put more frugal installs on the same USB stick.
Do the complete process again, for the new Puppy version.
When you run the boot loader install.
It will make entries, for all installs it finds, on the USB drive.

At the end of the day, I find, it boils down to this. With Windoze, you don't have any choice but to use what somebody ELSE thinks is a good idea.

I have windows 8 installed, then after that ubuntu 18.04, and then intalled kubuntu 20.04,
there is no place for more, and that's why I want puppy on usb flash drive.

I have pny 16 gb 2.0 usb flash drive, and desktop
from 2009, that runs fine.

After installing puppy with different methods(
grub4dos with ext4 or fat, and uefi usb installer with fat32( installer says
it must be that format)
it’s always the same message when I start
computer ‘Urr! wee...’

Removing some programs(e.g. mulitmedia applications) with the utility remove built-in packages, does it actually remove from loadin into memory, at the system start?
