Re: How to prevent rox from opening when mounting a drive?

@MochiMoppel: Thanks, your solution is exactly what I wanted, works like charm. At least in Fossapup65 95. In Xenial 32 there is no /usr/local/pup_event/drive_all. But nevermind. @wizard: thanks again for MOUNT_drv. It works for me. An extra click compared to directly clicking a drive icon. But as a...

Re: Prevent rox from opening when mounting a drive

Thanks wizard,
this is not exactly what I wanted, but it works and as it's not really a security problem for me if the drive is automatically mounted at boot I probably will succumb to this solution.

How to prevent rox from opening when mounting a drive? (solved)

Is there a way to prevent rox from opening when mounting a drive?
I do have links to portable apps on a separate drive on the desktop and it is tedious to have to close the rox window every time after mounting that drive.
My most used puppies are xenial 32 and fossa 64 9.5.

Neben Puppy benutze ich a...

Why not Librecad 2.2.0 ?
It is much improved and not much larger.
An sfs of it would be nice, too. I might try this myself.

Vector graphics?

@ mikeslr: I don't see how to draw vector elements in LazPaint. When I draw a shape or a line, polyline, it is rasterized if I zoom in to inspect, instead of keeping a clean outline. I suspect vectors are just hidden means under the bitmap to control manipulation of the bitmap. If I save the drawing...

LibreCAD 2.2.0 Final Appimage available

It seems the QT stuff contained in the LibreCAD appimage collides with the QT within Fossapup 64. The appimage runs in Fossapup 64 barebones version, where QT is missing. But the barebone also lacks CUPS. I have tried to add CUPS and get my printer working, but had no success. But - tataa - Fossapup...

F96_4-radky6-CE time setting issue

@ amethyst:
I set time to local, not UTC.
If it's not an issue to other users, then nevermind. As fossapup 9.5 and s15pup behave differently I thought it might be considered as a bug.

williams2, many thanks for your efforts. Now I at least know what is the reason.
I will look for an other 64bit Puppy which runs the LibreCAD appimage and provides a working CUPS.
If this fails I might also try to get cupsd installed.

Hello I have to get the LibreCAD 2.2.0 64 appimage to run with working printing. It doesn't run in Fossapup64 full, but surprisingly it runs in the barebone. Re: LibreCAD 2.2.0 Appimage

@ mikewalsh: Generally QCad is more advanced than LibreCAD. But it is not really an open source project, rather a commercial one and the free community edition is restricted in several aspects. Most severe is the restriction of DXF support to R15/2000 vs 2007 in LibreCAD, and no DWG at all, vs at l...

LibreCAD now provides a continuous build for Linux as an appimage. The official stable branch still is V 2.1.3, has been since years, though 2.2.0 is much improved and stable too, and has been provided as release candidate for Windows. From the discussion going on it might seem Clarity's view is a one person opinion only. It isn't. Now developers say...

If you are able to pull a file out of the camera you probably can use any image or video editor.
Can you provide a sample file here, just for fun? I made a short google search for the camera, I would not expect too much from it.

Thanks for your answers and your engagement.
To be honest, I had hoped to get access to the original drawings. I suppose they were made as vector drawings, probably svg, from the beginning. Who has been the puppy artist? Still around? Somebody must have made them.
Maybe someone knows.
