Your PC may boot up if the UEFI (not Legacy) Boot enabled.
The Grub2Config does not support Legacy Boot under GPT.

The sda5 partition seems a 'logical'. You can remove it and remake 'primary' partition as sda2, using GParted.
Putting it aside, the Mint is now running on your PC?
If so, no problem to continue next step, frugalinstaller and grub2config.
Install grub2 into a USB drive. The grub.cfg will be on the top level of the USB drive.

Easiest way is to Install Puppy on another USB drive. Fossapup has 'StickPup' can be found in the 'Setup' menu.
1. Boot from your Live USB.
2. Stick in a new USB drive.
3. Run 'StickPup'.
4. Select the source type 'this'.
5. Select the new ISB drive, and go on.
Try the Grub2config.
