As anticipated - I failed with the Textmaker (pet for 32bit) in EasyOS (64bit). Looking for the "good old" Puppy packages on EasyOS I began with Midnight Commander - I'm happy again with this and then ... I run the 64bit EasyOS on a 32bit machine (no time to explore the meaning of this).

Indeed, I've noted too abiword crashes if pictures are not inserted "carefully", please I'd like to look for a better choice. For not to end up in a dead end in EasyOS, where do I start best with Textmaker? - Use one of the provided pets here or better compile a source code?
