Re: Debdog-full-install EFI
I am happy enough with Antix full install, it does all I require from it.
The EFI readme instructions on the live cd work well so the whole live cd can sit there for use when I need a network connection.
Old habits dye hard and I always ...

Re: BusterDog + build system (no-systemd)
Yep. I do 3D printing among other things. Using the slic3r appimage works well for me and integrates with Pronterface without issue, also slic3r-prusa works from apt without redirecting files.

Re: How to control Python with Yad?
You've done it!!! absolutely amazing, thank you so much.
4 days and sleepless nights of head scratching, reading, thinking, trying and you do it in a few minutes.
Maybe I shouldn't be so stubborn and ask for help sooner.
It's now working perfectly many thanks indeed.

Re: Bullseye build script
Hi again. I am still building and breaking and loving it.
Question I have this time is:
Is there a way I can upgrade only installed software without having all the crap that apt upgrade wants to make me have?
I know the --no-install-recommends command but that doesn't always work either.

Re: Bullseye build script
Used it and broke it several times now, Full install keeps prompting to upgrade on apt update, big mistake to do it, overwrites too many things.
Can you explain further, you did a full install from a XFCE build ? And what happened then ?
Ha on which occasion? Any breakages are my own fault ...

Re: Buster dog is great. Will there be a Bullseye dog?
Worked perfect first time Fred.
Booted to live system.
Used Synaptic to mark all updates and it only showed the install scripts to updated.
Writing this from my newly Full-installed system with changes made in live.
