WiFi so slow that it was unusable. Found this fix on-line and it worked. From /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0 directory: Copy firmware-6.bin somewhere in case you need it at a later date. DELETE firmware-6.bin from above directory. Reboot, Setup > Network Connection Wizard. WiFi will now be much ...

From early versions Puppy Linux, find "apulse-0.1.10-i686-wz.pet". Not sure but may solve your problem.
If your running a 64 bit puppy, try "apulse-0.1.10-x86_64.pet". Again, not sure but may solve your problem.
