I compiled gxkb lightweight keyboard switcher and put it into gxkb-0.8.0-x86_64.pet for 64bit Puppies.
I checked it out with Fossapup and Bionicpup. Everything works out of the box in JWM

You can try to trace the problem by yourself. If poweroff command in your terminal doesn't work you can get the reason why. If it works then trace the exit menu that is just simple and readable file where you can get the command that is executed for switching off the computer. May be something ...

I tried to compile 2.1.7 in 32 bit but failed on Tahrpup (as well as to compile 2.1.5) I'm wondering what is wrong but can't get trough the errors... unfortunately. I'm not as experienced.
