qt-style-plugins?
Ok, background: I am trying out the LXQt ydrv for ScPup. It works great for me so far. I like that the font I choose gets applied to GTK3-based apps, Which is a big deal-maker for me. However, I would like a uniform appearance across all apps. So I got a theme that will work with both GTK2 and GTK3....

XFCE on modern Puppy?
Is there a way to get XFCE on a modern Puppy? LxPups are great, but I really prefer XFCE... Most of the stuff I found is either for older or 64-bit versions of PL.
If anyone can give me instructions to reliable methods, that would be great!

Re: LxPupSc32
EDIT: Unetbootin works, but it turns out I got the one that has a 64-bit kernel... watching it load on my 32-bit was like watching a Saint Bernard mate with a Chihuahua in heat... I used ScPup and slapped the LXDE ydrv on it. Thanks for the help! ===== peebee What kind of boot - UEFI or Bios? If UE...

@tosim: I couldn't find any tools named "Pentoy". I tried MultiBootUSB, but it won't work.

Re: Which is your favorite variant of Puppy Linux?
Peebee's LxPups are great for me at the moment, since I do not like JWM-Rox, not even a bit. Once I get the hang of Woof-CE, I'll be using my own Pups from then on.

How do I add another DE when building with Woof-CE?
How do you add add a desktop environment to the build process? I would like to try building my own Puppy with XFCE.
I'm no stranger to PL but Woof-CE mystifies me...
Thanks!

Live USB utility for LxPupSc32?
What live USB utility supports LxScPup (or is able to make a working live USB with it)?
I normally use YUMI, but all options for unsupported ISOs failed.

Re: How long will 32-bit Puppy support continue?
The only thing that's important to keep up-to-date is the browser, and those are covered in spades, since they're the glue that hold online communities together. Finally, someone who understands what I need! In recent years, some of us have been exploring the 'portable' package format, run from out...

Re: How long will 32-bit Puppy support continue?
It seems I posted the wrong title; fixed it. But while I don't mind hearing your opinion, it gives me the feeling that PL is the Toki Pona of Linux distros- keeping everything simple. I was just hoping if old computers are in the community's long-term interests, and I certainly got the answer. (=^.^=)

How long will 32-bit Puppy support continue?
I'm currently running an old (as in 32-bit) laptop, and I was planning to keep it useful by switching it over to Linux once I get a new laptop. But with so many distros ending support for 32-bit computers, I want to ask: How long is Puppy Linux planning to support 32-bit computers? I am looking into...
