Re: Power bar issues

Flash wrote: Tue Aug 02, 2022 4:20 pm

Does the power bar actually work, that is, does it supply power to a phone or tablet, but the LEDs never change?

I tried it with a few things, it doesn't supply any power. It has a power button that doesn't respond at all. It also has a flashlight that used to work, not anymore.

Re: Power bar issues

What kuman11 means is an external battery that you plug your phone or tablet into for longer running. Calling it a power bar makes it sound like a candy bar. :) Kuman11, what brand and model is this power bar and how old is it? It's also called a power bar in many stores, it's not only me. It's ...

Re: Power bar issues

Besides this power bar (on the pic), there's also another one, that is used to have more power for a phone or tab on the go. They can be charged at home. This is an issue of this type of bar.

Re: What a flashing light of a notebook adapter means?

bigpup,

I opened it, one of the plastic cables connecting to the MB was partly disconnected from the socket. I fixed it altogether along with removing a lot of dirt.
In the end all this didn't work so the condition is still the same.

Depending what you want to save. ie. only the current webpage or all the webpages for that internet address. To only save the current webpage displayed, select Save Page (or Save page as) from your browser's menu and then select Web Page complete. Best is to create your own named folder first and ...

Bionicpup64 has a PMirrorget website downloader which I have used to download our complete website when for archival storage.

Menu --> Internet --> PMirrorget website downloader

It seems it saves the RSS feed of the page. Can u restore the whole page from it offline after that?

Re: Possible to save all of your content on a long Firefox webpage?

Fred, by "all of my content", I meant text & pics on a particular webpage, one with a lot of that, it takes time to fully open. Is that 'print to .pdf', a good idea for that? The browser's Firefox.

p.s. bigpup sent me a pm about that.

kuman11,

Pleases try

Code: Select all

xrandr --output LVDS1 --primary --mode 1024x600 --output VGA1 --mode 1280x1024 --right-of LVDS1

Now the monitor didn't go dark altogether, though the confirmation screen is still not responsive.
And the image is out of range.
