Re: Maybe a Easypup Updated and rebased

I do not have the patience, and I also feel that I lack some skills, so I do not usually build my own versions of programs. Only the occational tiny one. But, I have never let any program be automatically updated, I have never understood why people would allow that.

BTW, re. security; the latest ...

Hi scsijon. Haha, I have a feeling that BarryK may utter some harsh remarks when he read this thread! You won't even find a link to download an EasyPup anymore!
I have EasyPup 2.5.1 installed next to my EasyOS Daedalus in my old Dell laptop that I use now, but until my over 20 year old HDD ...

BarryK, 6.5.5 is now up and running. I try to transfer some music files from my PC to my Android phone, which I later connect by Bluetooth to my car stereo.
But, Bluetooth and EasyShare are still not working in Daedalus. BT is still reporting: 'No default controller available'.

Re: The installed EasyOS's are extremely large!

Thank you, bugnaw333. I checked my /devuan/daedalus dir, and it is 2687MB in size. That makes for a new question; What can safely be deleted? I started to install additional packages in 6.5, 6.5.1.1, 6.5.3, and also in 6.5.4.2. Are those lost if I update with a delta file, and delete the old sfs's ...

Re: The installed EasyOS's are extremely large!

Additinal question: I also tried to make a Snapshot of the working session, but the program quit abruptly without making a Snapshot. Is that also related to the problem with lack of space? I have never had a 20 gig working directory before, but that is obviously too small now.

I don't know if it is relevant, but one of my old PC's refuses to accept my 64Gb USB3.0 flash stick, even if it should be back compatible with older USB verions. All my 32Gb sticks works OK.
