Re: Intel N100 processor UHD core graphics card driver compatibility is poor

Kernel is too old (4.16+ required) or unusable for Iris

Use a newer kernel

I am using BookwormPup64, and the kernel is also new. After changing several kernels, this prompt appears.
The 6.6 and 6.8 kernels also indicate this, is it not a kernel issue, or is it a compilation ...

Which build of Puppy are you using?

Why not share some screenshots of your error messages?

Is it the UHD Graphics 730 driver?

Intel N100 processor UHD core graphics card driver compatibility is poor
Which kernel does this graphics card need to use, and what content needs to be changed to maximize performance? Currently, there have been many MPV playback prompts that do not support it, and even hard solutions are not possible

How to compile xapp 2.6.1?

At a glance it looks like you would compile it with meson and ninja
When asking questions like that it would be helpful if you could post a link to source code and any other information so that we don't have to go searching for it.

@dancytron - this kernel is on archive.org (see below). I usually wait a few days after posting there, then remove mediafire links.
The forum kernels section should reflect this change. Sorry, I forgot to come back to this thread & fix it.

Re: Puppy Network Managers - SNS, Frisbee, NetWiz, Pgprs, Pupdial

You can Google/DuckDuckGo for resolv.conf for more information.

It should be dhcpcd that creates and modifies /etc/resolv.conf.

In the documentation, if resolv.conf is a symlink, then dhcpcd will not overwrite resolv.conf.

AFAIK, every time your network connects and each time it reconnects ...

Can Frisbee modify dns alone?

AFAIK, you can do exactly that by configuring your preferred DNS address or addresses in file /etc/resolv.conf.head for example:

nameserver 1.1.1.1
nameserver 1.0.0.1
#IBM Quad9
nameserver 9.9.9.9

If you want the patched kernel source, here is 5.10.83, with the patches that 1kernel.sh applies:

http://distro.ibiblio.org/easyos/source/kernel/5.10.x/

It has the latest aufs patch, for 5.10.82+ kernels.

I will leave it online for about a week.

patch-5.10.81 is supposed to be applied to 5.10.0. It contains the delta between 5.10.0 and 5.10.81.

Either download the 5.10.81 sources and skip the patch, or get 5.10.0 and apply the patch (and apply it only once).
