Re: Changing Menu icons

bigpup Yes, the info from oscar and my test show that all icon themes don't contain all icons, so the menu uses what is there in pixmaps. Looks like you get different icons depending on what order you have switched the themes. I solved my issue by symlinking the icons I wanted into the Blue-Moon th...

Re: uefi hdd install only boots if USB drive is attached

Maybe get rid of the GPT structure and install Grub4Dos.

Think that's the best solution for that old bios.

Another tip on mounting drive/shares from XFE. -open XFE -click Tools>Go to script folder -copy MOUNT_drv and MOUNT_network into the scripts directory Two ways to use the Scripts files: 1. click Tools>Go to script folder, changes the active pane to the scripts directory. 2. right click on any direct...

Odd that the first post never showed in Your Post or New Post, tried on two different computers. I'll remove the first post as it has nothing to do with that topic.

Me too on the single click for pup, but found that in XFE I made a lot of errors if I used single click, sure some because I'm clumsy or in a hurry. Really bad if using a laptop trackpad.

Marv''s code may be what I was thinking of, I'm going to tinker with just limiting the cache size and see how that works out.

I'm using peebee's chromium sfs and would like to move the cache and download dir to /mnt/home. Would this technique work and does it have to have a ext* partition?

rockedge Same problem I had and with each new version they would move the goal post and put in back doors so they could override your settings. Give stopupdates10portable.zip a try, I currently have W11 running with it successfully stopping updates. Lots easier than tracking down reg entries. wizard

MysticReverie After rereading your post, I edited my post above to correctly reference checking the SAVE file and not your swap file. Don't have any experience with fatdog. Did you get the pet converted? The pet has to install the Intel drivers, alsa configuration files and some shell scripts in order for it to work. Also in fossa64 9.5 it required a kernel swap.
