It is not for Linux OS.
Not at all. Many of diagnostic programs are running not under Windows or Linux, but under minimalistic DOS (command.com, io.sys).
AFAIK there is not Linux repairing programs for NTFS.

Hiren's BootCD can't run under Slacko, it is bootable system - boot it from usb.

Re: What are the files event-sound-cache.tdb.xxx.i686-pc-linux-gnu for?
1. In 1st step I manually deleted this files. Nothing wrong after - sound is working no problem.
2. I read on Askbuntu that deleting these files helps if the sound is down

Re: How to add Windows to Fatdog64 boot manager?
Hi
3 questions :
1. Windows version?
2. What is the partition layout on HDD/SSD?
3. Can you quote boot manager's config file?
Have a nice day

Re: I did not copy the text in menu.lst and nowI cannot start puppy linux
Hi
1. I think you will save yourself a lot of problems if you do the first installation on a USB flash drive and choose BionicPup32-8.0 (UPupBB-19.03) .
2. In contrast to standard Linux installations, the standard installation in Puppy is FRUGAL.

Hi solarpuppy
May be for you? 10 years ago I used on Compaq with PIII 600 ~ 1000 MHz (I don't remember details) and no more memory than 512 MB precise-5.7.1. Download generic precise-5.7.1.iso.

Not. Inside zip there is ISO for bootable CD/pendrive.

Bingo rcrsn51, You Are Great!
Renamed zdrv_fossapup64_9.5.sfs, pfix=ram >> no booting problem.
But what to do with booting from ISO - is remastering the only way?
Have a nice days and nights
