Highway Code

Routing software is very interesting. I have no clue how the code works out routes from A to B. Nor how the code extrudes the data into a graphic representation. But it is more than a coincidence that the software code is dependent upon the Highway Code. So it was with dismay that I read an entry in...

Just want to say I enjoyed reading this nice little "adventure". From this I am now curious enough to delve into waydroid, which I deduce to be a specialised emulator for android, Houdini which is like an arm to x86 translation api, and weston, a wayland compositor or window manager? ... A...

Yes, it worked. Thanks. This is only for usb-midi interface, so i cannot use the audio interface. I had to buy a windows laptop to use my two audio interfaces, as i bought them so cheaply it made them laptop purchase worthwhile. Otherwise I would need to buy a zoom H8, portable audio interface and r...

How to compile an evdev dependency against eudev

I bought an m-audio m-track quad audio interface for $20, and then I found a firmware package for linux that requires compiling. However it looks for evdev --version. However fatdog has eudev. What steps would I take to compile it. Can I edit the dependency spec or what? The purpose is to compile th...

Or....have a simple mode and an advanced mode with all devices. And a checkbox for timeout on reboot or re-login before activation, giving time to restore a device in case all were disabled.

elogind is present but it doesn't run. It can't run. If it does run - this is an illusion because it's not doing anything. Your graphic equaliser settings tell me your speakers are too bassy, right? Or that your hearing is so sensitive that both ends of the spectrum need trimming! Either way it's a curious shape.

I will try your build script, as the flatpack plugin has got me curious.

How to convert a terminal qr code to an image?

I recently found qrcp https://github.com/claudiodangelis/qrcp/releases/download/0.10.1/qrcp_0.10.1_linux_x86_64.tar.gz It is a commandline binary which generates qr codes for file send or receive.
