Re: QuickPup64 24.01 RC6

mistfire the table shows a "Y(7)" which is easy to replicate on your end. I think it is easily understood. If not, QP vRC6 ISO boots when launched from Ventoy, but one cannot direct where to save the session via change to boot menu. Further if a SAVESPEC is present it will not be respecte...

Re: DistroWatch needs a newer Puppy version listed for Puppy Linux!!!!!

Hello wanderer and other members. I caution at the use of words like "low ram" and "bloatware". These often are essentially meaningless and often their usage is in a negative light. I dont think we want negative light, overall. Forum distros, in todays world, seemingly intend to ...

Thus, a user who does NOT want a report that option 0 provides, cannot abandon as option 2 is suppose to provide.

Can Kvm Qemu be Installed on Any Puppy Linux?

Yes, QEMU is available in all modern forum distros' package-managers. BUT, there is a special Puppy-created utility by norgo that I HIGHLY recommend as it ensures the OS running on the PC will take advantage of the PC's KVM feature. So, your steps would be Use the PPM (or the package manager) to add...

Re: Puppy Linux on a old Netbook Hasee SD - Card

Hi HerrAbisZ Questions Where is your Ventoy USB? Doesn't it boot on your Netbook to a PUP desktop? Did you put any 32bit ISO files from this forum on your USB? If its 32bit, put one of the modern 32bit WoofCE ISO files on the Ventoy USB in the BOOTISOS folder that I suggested earlier. Boot it and le...

Re: DistroWatch needs a newer Puppy version listed for Puppy Linux!!!!!

...I think it's time to disable this copying by default, for 3 reasons: 1. Puppy is getting bigger, hence this copying consumes more and more RAM in computers that can't be upgraded 2. With a SSD, the performance gain from this copying is negligible and it's a waste of RAM 3. This RAM is probably b...
