The settings for a package (eg $packagename$) in scarthgaps /root/.$packagename$ and container-Daedalus /root/.$packagename$ don't coinside once you change what's in one of them. Wouldn't matter until you change one to suit what your doing and switch to use a package between them without ...

Re: How to make resolv.conf find another DNS server?

Theoretically, all you should need to have is the list of nameserver lines in resolv.conf under each other for it to work and step-on if unavailable within a preset time, however there are quite a few "accidentally" incorrect in the cloud and we don't have the right to fix them, only their webmaster ...

GitHub Self Hosting Alternative Gitea

Considerations are underway to make use of GitHub Self Hosting Alternative Gitea ( https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea ) by a couple of groups I assist with, but everyone concerned with the change at this stage has only read about gidea and worked with the standard github. Requirement to move has ...

My choice would be "depending in what you want to do with it".

Do you need to use the latest or near latest for a specific reason, such as after major bugfixes or prerequisites for a piece of software you must use;
or have you come across a piece of software ...

processors and memory in a container?

Does anyone know if there a way to control the maximum amount of memory (ram) and the number of processor cores that can be assigned available to be used by an individual container somewhere?

BarryK, I see that you have started on Trixie from debian in your EasyOs Tree. I was just wondering if your considering creating a pure Debian Trixie based EasyOS build, or is it just to update some of the additional packages you use?
If the first i'll have a play about with adding the Sugarlabs ...

I don't know why, but I was thinking that you were working towards a EasyOS Base (Kirkstone at present) plus individual containers for other versions such as void, deb, ubuntu, ....
