and others who contribute so very much to making Puppy, Dogs,(and other related distros) for all to use.

Re: new version of apt with new color display
Please let me suggest "nala". Once installed, "nala" is used in place of "apt".
Nala has colors, and runs quicker(IMHO) than apt.

Why not just open a terminal, type in "devto"? Then, go to "man devto" and see all the options. Nice and easy!

Re: Doas - a sudo substitute
Y'all can also look into "nala".Like apt enhanced the user experience from apt-get, nala takes it to the next level
by making it more human-readable and presenting only the relevant info with beautiful colors.
Actually, Nala does a lot more than just adding colors to the terminal.

@mimine-I have 2 laser printers-One is monochrome, the other is color. I've been using both for
well over 5 years, and wouldn't ever again use inkjet.

Re: Puppy's default mail software... Why not BlueMail ?
Sorry, but I cannot see the making of ANY snap, or flatpack, or even an appimage, default on ANY Pup. I'm sure there are many others,
like myself who do not care to use snap or flatpack, for one reason or another, or more.

Has the FXFFUS.iso also been updated, and if so, is it necessary then to wipe out the original and then install new one, or do
you recommend a better/different way? Thanks for a great distro.
