In Fossapup their is a utility called PuppyPDF - Menu/document.
It can convert .png files to PDF.

Eureka - I've finally managed to convert the video to Xvid with audio using FFconvert which is available in Dpup Stretch and it plays on the TV perfectly.

I guess their must be a problem with Avidemux.

Mike - does the 32 bit version work, if so I'll install a 32 bit Pup, probably Dup-stretch.

Mike, unless I've misunderstood your tutorial you click on the 3 dots in Preferences - Multi-frame - Audio Settings then navigate to /dev then select the required 'block' device.
I have 2 audio 'blocks' in /dev, audio and audio1. I have tried them both but still no audio.

Any ideas?

Mike, I've been playing with XVidCap but can't find out how to route the audio to the sound card output. If it can be done it's ideal for what I want.
How is it done?

I don't know which version of Puppy your using but most of them :-
Menu - Setup - Screen/Graphics Wizard - Screensaver
then uncheck the Enable screensaver.

OK thanks for your help anyway. I guess it's Firefox or Palemoon for ITVX now.
I've just realised BBC Iplayer has the same problem.

The file 'WidevineCdm' is present and correct.
The 'Sites can play protected content' is checked

I'm using Mikes Portable but it isn't included in the extensions hence I can't enable it as per jaspers link

as the subject says, it play audio OK but no video, just a blank screen. Works OK on BBC Iplayer.
Firefox - no problem.
Any thoughts?

I reformatted the memory stick to Ext3, re-installed Fossa and viola it all works

I've installed Brave Portable on a USB stick that I use for online banking and the like however it won't launch.
Firefox and Palemoon run OK.
The stick is formatted to vfat and the OS is Fossapup64.

Any ideas?

I have an Acer Aspire 5332, 1.8GHz, 3GB memory, 250GB HDD with windoze 7 installed.
It runs Fossapup64 no problem and it runs quite fast, it could do with a bit more ram though.
It was given to me - you can't get cheaper than that

I then found the cache here-
PROFILE/spot/Brave-Browser/Default/Cache

so I modify this path '/PROFILE/Default/Cache' to the above path and it worked.

Hi all,
I'm running the Brave Portable browser under Fossapup64.
Does anyone know where the cache is and can you move it out of the savefile as you can with Firefox and Palemoon?
If not how do you clear the cache from the browser?

Its not really a case of saving time by utilizing sleep but more a case of saving power cycling the machine which I try to avoid in order to prolong it's life.
