- It uses www.radio-browser.info instead of radiosure.com
- It supports m3u / m3u8 as playback formats
- It builds the radio-stations database in seconds

Thanks to fredx181 for pointing out a solution to the radiosure issue. I have added the fix to the next version of pMusic.

There has been reports of bad sound quality because of the builtin equalizer. This is removed in pmusic-6.0.3

We need to know what burn engine is used. The latest pBurn requires cdrtools-3, but several Puppies tries to squeeze down size by using the cdrkit package instead. As a workaround it's made links from crdkit commands to cdrtools 'equals'.

'cdrecord' is the burning command in cdrtools, so to check ...

With version 6.9.1, pMusic is now supporting both Gtk3 and Gtk2.
Consider this as a development release. It will work, but there is still some UI issues to improve.

pEqualizer is started in line 494 in /usr/local/pmusic.
We don't need pEqualizer in pMusic even if it is built for integration... It could still work as a standalone app.

So why does pMusic "turn on" pEqualizer by default whereas with all other players I need to start pEqualizer by its own and then start the player before it is integrated with the player? Could this be one of the issues with pMusic causing some conflict? It could absolutely be the cause. pEqualizer ...

Sorry for the nagging, but I am really interested in improving the playback quality of pMusic.
Could you please test this command in a terminal and check the quality? Replace /dir/file.mp3 with your audio file.
ffmpeg -i "/dir/file.mp3" -f s16le -acodec pcm_s16le -ar 44100 -ac 2 ...

Are there any sound improvement if you bypass pEqualizer? Do this by choosing your soundcard in the preferences. Now soundcard will be locked to pMusic, and won't work in other apps as long as pMusic is active. Choose 'auto' to reset.

BTW - moving the volume slider in "input (ffmpeg) in Sound Processing of pMusic during play, crashed the sound completely.
Are you sure it is the volume slider that causes this and not 'Pitch'. I made a fix a couple a days ago about this. ffmpeg was compiled without rubberband lib and it made ...

Experimenting still. I've now compared the sound quality with DeadBeef and mpv. In all cases the settings are the same, pEqualizer is used (same settings), same song(s). Made sure that DeadBeef's own equalizer and any mplayer equalizer settings are turned off. Using headphones. Very Interesting ...

What happened here? See big play icon, bottom left. This changed overnight, correct button was shown previously. Using Xenial 32.

I don't know why the svg icons don't have the right format.
I passed them through inskape. and it was solved.

Looking into icon-play.svg as an example they both look similar when removing the inkscape ...

Icons has been an issue in the official FossaPup 64-bit. As far as I know, the other official Puppies are ok. I don't know the reason for this, and has not taken the time to dig into this as pMusic is not a part of this build.
