Re: GUI file finder for Puppy?
I find psearch reasonable, but slow. CAJA has a very good file finder.
But if you want something REALLY fast, Fsearch is the go once it is setup. Its in the Bionic64 PPM and in Quickpet.

Re: Clear memory caches
CleanRam_0.2 can be found here as a .pet, and it converts via pet2sfs into a .sfs which runs happily on 32 and 64 bit Puppy OSs, in my wxperience. Wouldn't be without it, especially when running graphics/wine programs on 4GB Ram computers.

Re: Looking for financial apps
Consider running windows programs under wine. I noticed that there are portable versions of gnucash and moneymanager on portableapps, com.
Not all windows programs run, or run absolutely perfectly, but you may be surprised at what does work..

Re: qpdf prevents me viewing pdf files. How to get rid of it?
If you ave another PDF viewer installe such as evince, you can set that as your default PDF viewer
Navigate as follows: Menu -> Setup -> Default applications viewer - (select PDF pulldown menu)
BTW, I a writing this in LXSCPup64, but something similar should be in all puppies.

Re: Are you using Windows?
I occasionally use IRFANVIEW running under portable WINE in LXDE Bionicpup64 for printing, since it allows you to more precisely stretch and place images on a page. Wouldnt be without it, actually.

Re: Can a Puppy file manager perform this Windows search operation? [SOLVED]
Another suggestion is the use of fsearch. Its in the PPM for Bionicpup, at least.
See more details at https://www.fossmint.com/fsearch-search ... for-linux/
Once setup it is blisteringly fast. Not sure about file drag and drop...

Re: Adding Puppy manually to grub?
What you are trying to do is very reasonable and doable if Manjaro runs GRUB2. BTW, I currently run my Bionicpup64 loaded as a frugal fileset in MX-Linux.
This post might also help configure the GRUB script: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=988
