Re: Raspbian Buster
Start using Raspup 8.2.1 on my little PiZero board. So far quite stable. Only one question: How can i convert certain puppy-specific apps to use on my Raspup? Such as PaDs (to combine .deb into .sfs), easyDD (to burn .img)??? ***Edit 17/09/2020: I figured out how to build .sfs for my raspup. I downl...

Re: How to use vpn with puppy linux?
GPPTP should work. You need to make sure that in /etc/ppp/options.pptp the line require-mppe-128 is uncommented though, so edit it if necessary. I have been experimenting with a simple VPN implementation which uses openvpn (included). I named it vpn-onoff. It is designed mainly for use with a coupl...

How to use vpn with puppy linux? (Solved)
I never figured out how to use the vpn tools come along with many puppies, ie the "Gpptp PPTP VPN Client".
Questions:
1. Is this tool still usable in 2020?
2. Is there any easy to use vpn that able to run in puppy linux to recommend to me, other than this GPPTP VPN?

Re: How to force Pupmode=13 when installing puppy in Hard Drive (ie. Pupmode=12)?
cobaka Thanks for your suggestions, but the info is from many years back. And the files they edit are not the same (or familiar?) as i can recall last time. Not knowing what exact boot loader you are using. In general look for the config file that is providing the boot menu entries. menu.lst Syslin...

How to force Pupmode=13 when installing puppy in Hard Drive (ie. Pupmode=12)? [SOLVED]
I did a fresh frugal install of puppy on my laptop hard drive, replacing the old 32 bit puppy. However, the default Pupmode is 12, which will save my session automatically whenever i shutdown my laptop. With our good old murga-linux forum down, I lost all my resources to the knowledge of puppy linux...
