As far as I know, booting from the ISO will use the configuration file within the ISO file. The savefile you have can be used with a frugal install

Re: sdb1 is read only--what did forget pls?
So how did you set it to mount at boot? Did you create a script and placed it in /root/startup? Do you have anything on /etc/fstab? I'm not familiar with F96CE. Haven't used it yet but you can start on those. I'm sure other people with more experience on F96_CE will share their expertise.

Re: DistroWatch needs a newer Puppy version listed for Puppy Linux!!!!!
I just tried DDG and Google. Both of them gave me the same link to the announcement. Using Firefox browser (though I don't think the browser would make a difference)

Re: Testing a change made to the New Post search code
Tried it several times searching for specific keywords and it seem to be working just fine. Gave me fast results too.

Just say NO! to subscriptions
HELL NO! I DON'T WANT IT!
Generation today and the next need to learn how to push and say NO or they will not own anything. Everything will be subscribed...FOR LIFE.

Re: Operating systems with AI negate VPN's and privacy
This conversation got me thinking. The best way to combat bad guys and AI is to learn AI yourself. So, those of you who are learning AI, where do you go? What do you use? Recommendation? - Thanks

Re: Operating systems with AI negate VPN's and privacy
Excellent! So, we agree on that one. "It's up to us humans". And I think where we differ is who will be using it the most, bad or good? My gut feeling is the "bad ones". Am I just being too negative? Maybe. And I hope and pray I'm wrong.

I did this for myself. Hope it helps. The last one is surprising but it works for me and that's how mine is setup right now. You can read the two page thread here: viewtopic.php?t=12271

Re: Bookworm stopped working sends a cryptic message: "device full"
I think we need more information. Right now, without enough information, the only thing I can think of is you are using a savefile. Not a folder. If my hunch is right you're using a savefile, default size of a savefile is, if I remember it correctly, only 512MB.
