radky , wizard , Jasper , Marv , fr-ke , josejp2424 , I have been "polishing" the networking packages while preparing them for woofCE. The changes improve the thoroughness of switching managers while another manager's dialogs are on screen. The old windows are closed when a new manager is...

Re: Network Connect Updates for Next BookwormPup & FossaPup64CE

radky , wizard , While preparing the network update for woofCE I noticed a code error that results in an infinite loop if peasywifi is autostarted. I have uploaded version 20240418 with the correction. In addition, it adds checks for connman and peasywifi already running, to avoid multiple sessions...

The router's password has not been changed ...... unsure as why you suggested this.

Thanks for getting back to me. I assumed you are working with the password on your router for your PCs to talk to. That is all I have changed about wifi network passwords.

Awaiting your PM.

I have fixed the problem and uploaded the new package (petget_fixes-20240124.pet). That is the only change.

boof,

You may have to install the sns package as /root. That is is only way I have done it.

If you installed under spot, I'd be curious what running sns from a console would show as to messages.

Will your wifi card not work with the brcmsmac driver? That would be simplist.

If you must use ipw2200, you can add a preference for it in order to override brcmsmac. For details, just ask.

Which puppy are you running?
