Re: Show Us Your Desktop

@JASpup

Nope xfce packages from slackware 14.2, build from LxPupSc 20.06+3 by hand. I wonder why @peebee use slackware current as base for building Slackware-based Puppy but uses Slackware 14.2 as package repo on PPM instead of Slackware Current?

elogind was for login management. Puppy does not use it because of its a single user running on root. So it's safe to ignore those error messages from elogind

Re: How to get Bluetooth earbuds to work in BionicPup64?

@Jafadmin

You can also try the newly released pBluetooth 4.0 alpha 5
viewtopic.php?f=89&t=1135

And to this procedure again
1. Go to pBluetooth > Paired Devices
2. On your paired bt headset click "Manage"
3. If you see about redirecting audio click it

peebee I used the lxpupsc 20.06+3 build Based on exploring the source code of Xorg and eudev, Xorg creates a netlink to eudev in order to listen on kernel events using the libudev "name_to_handle_at on /dev: Function not implemented" This error means that the function named "name_to_handle_at" on ...

Re: LxPupSc32 01Nov-2020

@peebee

I finally found why Xorg hotplugging does not works. The problem was the eudev package from slackware current. It throws this error message

Code: Select all

name_to_handle_at on /dev: Function not implemented

The solution was rollback the eudev using the slackware 14.2 package

Not all puppies have /etc/init.d/dbus script. If it is exists, just disable that script. Much better if D-bus started first before connecting to network and start services
