@number77

Don't know anything about tablets, the Dell 2350 is an All-in-one and the touch screen worked OOTB with BW64. Some of the members in this topic can probably give good guidance:

non Dell toner

It's not clear if this is just a warning message or a job-killing error.

What make/model did you select in CUPS? What driver is being used? OpenPrinting suggests that this printer should work OOTB by using their PPD file.

Dell 1355 was recommended with foomatic/foo2hbp12.

@number77 :-

You should be fine updating it.

I've just had to replace the D630 Latitude I bought a couple of years ago, 'cos the Nvidia mobile GPU has shuffled off its mortal coil. No GPU, no display.....and an external monitor wouldn't work either, 'cos it runs off the same GPU!

I found a nice ...

Re: Need a browser to replace Palemoon

I gave up on palemoon a while ago because of problems, as it was a while ago I cant be exact what they were but spent a lot of effort.
At the time of version 30.0, Pale Moon got broken, by a disgruntled developer putting bad code in it.

The latest version has a lot of improvements and fixes ...

Again are your speed tests based on booting to a working desktop and then doing a full shutdown?

Yes speed tests to full desktop and wifi working as it is always last. And complete shutdown.

They are both on mode 12.

I just added to my last post. Not sure you have read it.

Pupmode is 12 or 13.

This does affect how the save is written to.

You can find info on pupmode being used in Pup-Sysinfo ->Sys-Files ->PupState

Pupmode 13 will take a little longer to shutdown if save has not very recently been updated ...

What pupmode are you running them in?

Are they both installed on the exact same drive?

To really test this, are you just booting to a working desktop, with every piece of hardware functional? (Monitor, keyboard, mouse or touchpad, WIFI, sound)
Then doing the ...
