if you choose to let one aside !
and get spare time for biking !!

@BarryK and all ,

To follow the pace , updating to 6.6.2 , but kernel 6.12.12 was all ok here on this i5-6200u .
Only hickup i got with easy-update , is power failure while updating , which ,here , did happend to me many times (again this last one ,my bad) ,
resulting in incompleted image and ...

Frugal scarthgap here ,update went fine from 6.5.4.2 to 6.5.6 , could not find anything wrong with 6.5.6, until yesterday ,
checking packages in ppm , hmm , no ibiblio repo ;
# ppm
ls: impossible d'accéder à '/root/.packages/Packages-oe-scarthgap*': No such file or directory

I will have to investigate what circumstances could result in the .wh file getting created.

Tas is not in any of my pets or sfs , trying to find a guilty package of mine .
Searching again about .wh , ok , found about the subjet in 2007 old forum ,
i see , unionfs & aufs "whited out" listing ...

Did remember now i had some of those problems ,
checked in .session , yes /usr/share/applications/ , it did add a .wh.tas.desktop , removed it , reboot ,
it's back in menu .
i think i asked once (or wanted to and never did...)what are those .wh in .session , if answered , sorry,

TAS is still in Scarthgap 6.4.5

You are right , it is in usr/bin , just not in the menu here !?!
Menu only got screeny , no mtpaint/snapshot either.
I should fresh install to check if something i done broke the menu.. hmm , do have devx 6.4.5 sfs .
Update went fine to 6.4.5 .

What happend to "Take A Shot!" ? it's still in Daedalus .
when did that happen ? of all 3 screenshot prg include ,it's the only one that can ''crop'' instantly .

I've jump on 6.4.2 !!!

I am checking old right-click pet , that nice option it provide , run-in-terminal for executable , that feature would be nice too !!
Less click = happier users

Finaly got powerapplet_tray to recognise a weird battery name xplore ix125 tablet show as BATT ,
no BAT0 or BAT1 , i simply edited source to fit the name an recompiled powerapplet_tray , do give basic , charging/discharging/% left.
Still , Pup-SysInfo got an option to set the rename/recognise ...

Forgot to share , in 6.2 , BK let his xmodmap tweak in root , but , buzzer... dont ask me why ,

i got to add xmodmap -e 'keycode 203=Mode_switch' in one of my startup script !!!

Updated to 6.2 with EasyUpdate, rebooting ,while updating the computer shutdown , not a 6.2 problem , my bad , it did not like it at next reboot , kernel panic , i had to manualy copy & simlink + create the ''missing'' releases/easy-6.2/configuration & configuration-6.2
It's a fresh frugal install ...
