qemu-ready ( build script ) Because qemu-ready is using rdmsr ( msr-tools ), it's not possible to create a pet that will work for all CPU architectures, distros and versions. Re: How to get Wifi to work in Fossapup64?

Hello Steve1234 the 5.4.53 kernel is to old for this wifi hardware. When I remember correct at least kernel version 5.15 is required. Where from I know this? I've the same hardware in my laptop. In my case kernel 5.10.142 to old too. So I compiled the backport-driver for my kernel. The driver is wor...

Re: X doesn't start properly after NoblePup32 rebuild

@peebee
the reason is udev

used package version
libgudev-1.0-0_238-3_i386.deb
udev_255.2-3ubuntu2_i386.deb

created a symlink /sbin/udevd -> /usr/bin/udevadm

Now needed kernel modules becomes loaded automatically again and system is working fine

Ich kann auf der Teamspeak3 Webseite keine 32 Bit Version zum Download finden. Du verwendest aber die 32 Bit Version von S15Pup oder sehe ich das falsch ? For peebee and others, I have tested substituting kernels 5.15.x and 5.10.x now as well (kernel-kit-usrmerge) but the result is the same. I am becoming ever more inclined to look in the direction of xorg modesetting driver for clues and I see that /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/modesetting_drv.so do...

Today's seamonkey test with version 2.53.18 beta 1 pre brings me the hope back.
For a long time I couldn't detect any kind of improvement.
But version 2.53.18 has adapted and is now able to show java script sites much better as before.
Here an example:

Re: Is Seamonkey buggy?

oui More and more websites are using tons of javascript crap. Seamonkey doesn't contain the entire js functionality and that's why some websites doesn't work in seamonkey. I wouldn't call it bug because js is not a browser requirement. Unfortunately without js a lot of websites won't work. SLK64 co...

Re: svg images

I remember I had this problem too for a while.
The reason was the internet browser itself. In my case firefox.
I changed the browser and the problem disappeared.
It's worth to test this.
