Re: having trouble booting all forum distros from SD card
Grub2 or Grub4Dos?
grub4Dos the wee mbr one.
You might find that its easier to run and use 'grub2config' which features in the menu of some of the recent Pupps.
I can boot from an SD card ok using that.
Grub4dos kind of went downhill for one reason or another and wont boot some OS's ...

Yes Sir @ozsouth .indeed it was occurring in the standard BokwormPup64 and nothing to do with your latest version.

Bookwormpup10.0.7 has been released & not only does the taskbar thermometer not change for me, but locating the correct file to display cpu temp is obscure. Instead of a matching label (to the input number) we just have 'name' file. All my previous cputemp programs will now fail with this pup ...

Re: having trouble with frugal install
The instructions for the frugal install say "Installation is incredibly simple. You just need to create a folder in the ext4 partition, and copy three files, 'vmlinuz', 'initrd' and 'easy.sfs' into that folder. Those files are inside the 'easy-<version>-amd64.img' file.".

Been running this for some months on an ancient Acer Aspire desktop PC with a AMD Athlon CPU and a newish Acer Aspire desktop PC with an Intel J4025 CPU.
Both running from USB stick and also from internal HDD and SSD.
Cant fault it.
Excellent work!

My preferred choice is Firefox as it suits all my requirements.
However,if it can still be available to download from the menu and the majority prefer Chromium, not a problem.
Thank you.

So there's not an easier way to install a working Htop.
This is way over my head and nothing works and I have all sorts of Htop files in my downloads now and still no working Htop.
Here is a possible workaround which you can try (as an alternative to manual installation of 4 files)

Bluetooth appears to be broken.
Command:Power on has failed.
This seemed to occur after I updated from 5.5.3.
With luck , the results of the commands
dmesg | grep -i bluetooth (Edit : fix command name . Thanks to FeodorF)
and
rfkill
might give a clue to solve the problem.
