Hi houndstooth
The transparency effect in conky is not real, it is rather a simulated effect where it copies the wallpaper and thus gives that appearance mentioned
Logically within puppy there is a program called picom that gives a transparency effect but it ...

Ok let me understand what I think is happening here
Easyos is Puppy itself, but the difference is how it is packaged
The "normal" is that they are in ISO format and this is like IMG (Easyos)
I do not use Ventoy (still) but the little that I read is directly starting the ISO file without further ...

Re: Temperature sensor no activated by Conky in Fossapup96-CE
@PipzDex - unfortunately, different pups and different PCs use different registers.
The pmcputemp 0.9g update I made (in Utilities forum section) tries 7 drivers, then checks 8 /sys/class/hwmon folders & 4 temp files. I had a PC that used coretemp, hwmon4 & temp2_input, so needed to run a script ...

Terminal shows no sensors and sensors-detect in this Bookworm in a new old laptop (Acer Aspire E1-531).
Other Frugals on this laptop are fine with conky and sensors for the coretemp module showing CPU temperatures.
If lm-sensors is not in Bookworm, is there a ...
