Re: Slacko5.7-2018
I named my bootable Slacko CD-RW = slacko-5.7.0-pae- ataflash .iso
There is a save file on an internal partition.
I guess the ataflash indicates that the iso file has been customized to make the Slacko run in pupmode=13.
I think this would be done so that a SAVE/NOSAVE dialogue is ...

Re: F96-CE_4 Latest Stable Release
@rockedge
Any idea how long it's likely to be until F96-CE v5 is issued?
I'm wondering whether to hold off customizing FossaPup for my needs, or if it's likely to be a long time, to go ahead now.
I don't fancy having to do it twice.

1. Can you read that text in less than 8 seconds! I mean actually READ IT!
I cannot, so it times out. OK, now I know [from actually doing it] that it DOESN'T SAVE.
But that's a lose-lose ...

2. Noticed in "Puppy Event Manager" is says "Restart X for changes to take effect". Might be relevant to the SAVE/NOSAVE?

Else would be forced to keep using my ancient Slacko.
a) Thunderbird email client [VITAL], and a way to link to the emails stored/used by the Thunderbird installation on my Slacko Puppy.
I think I stored them off the save file, perhaps on ...

Look in menu -> System ->Event Manager ->Save session
If it says you are running in pupmode 13 the setting options should be select-able to control save operation.
The info on what happens is on that window.
If it says you are in pupmode 12
Then you will have to do the pmedia=usbflash edit to ...
