Re: How to disable network scanning?

All those real time configuration is setup properly. Running a real time kernel also. The main difference between Puppy Studio and my own ArtStudio64 would be JWM instead of Openbox. But even with XFCE there's no difference on the Xruns - at least I couldn't notice any. The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 2600X...

Re: How to disable network scanning?

For audio sample rate, frames and buffers my settings are: 44100 / 1024 / 2 . I don't have any network cables connected to my computer. Also there's no wifi device connected to the computer. I'm connecting to the web via PGPRS and 3G USB flash modem. Dosn't make a difference if I'm online via 3g USB...

Re: How to disable network scanning?

Jafadmin Hi. I'm using my own WoofCE built of Puppy especially for composing/recording music. But I have weird Xruns from time to time. These Xruns sometimes make the audio output unusable and it hurts my ears and speakers as well. So, someone mentioned I should disable network scanning, as this av...

making a professional music video of course involves hearing the actual song played...mostly in pieces...over and over and over again.

Yes, that's what I meant by wearing a "Mickey Mouse".

Do you mean to have only one .po (.mo) file per language for all those programs presented in the opening post ? I don't know if that will have any benefit for translators. L18L is the German member doing most (or almost all) translations for German language. He's also the expert for the MoManager an...

Yes, that's true.
But in the beginning I used save files.
At these times I booted from USB flash drives.
I think I'm sure, the pup_ro1 was empty as well.

Everything troubleshooting related to the use of PaDS, this is the right section. Since PaDS is not designed to create *drv .sfs modules it can't be of any use for this target. * Though, I never have seen anything in pup_ro1 . Thanks. Exec=audacious %U The issue is %U . I don't know why, but from my experience Puppy has almost ever problems if such commands are added to the Exec= entry. How to change sample rate of bulk .wav files with bash script?

Hi.

I want to change the sample rate of a bulk of .wav files from 48000 to 44100. How can I do this via bash script and e.g. ffmpeg?
Perhaps there's something other/easier to use than ffmpeg?

Thanks

Sorry, but I'm absolutely clueless at this point. I create my *drv .sfs modules manually. I don't know how you tried to build that adrv. sfs or what scripts you were using, though, sorry to say that, but most of all available scripts I used to create my *drv .sfs modules or to remaster the base .sfs...

Then there's something installed into the Tahr base .sfs that avoids the Chromium .sfs from running. I would suggest: - run Tahr without any save files - installing the libnss3 stuff one by one and testing the Chromium .sfs to load and run after each install of the libs When finished and succeeded i...

Re: PaDS 1.1.7 - convert .deb, .pet, .sfs, .tazpkg, .txz, .tar.gz to .sfs (Update/Fix: 2020-10-04)

That means there is already something (perhaps the libnss3 stuff?) existing inside your Puppy/Save-File/Save-Folder that is overwritten when installing all these packages. Since .sfs modules do load to a layer below the Puppy .sfs and also below the save file and/or save folder it won't replace that...

At these days I created a RoxApp for the CDE packager to easily create CDE packages.

What command do I have to add to the script to open ROX-Filer's certain bookmarks?
Very much appreciated.

What do you mean exactly?

Open all bookmarks of e.g. directories/programs/files at once?
Open a specific entry from bookmarks?
Open the bookmarks menu of a Rox filer window?
