Vanilla DPUP versions

Post by Clarity »

There are several VDPup versions with each having a series of upgrade releases:

  • v9.2
    v9.3
    v10+
    v10...xWayland+
    v10...beta+
    v11+

.
Question
Is there a single page listing of what each of these versions provides?

Thanks @bigpuppyfan, did see that and it had prompted my question to be certain I understand it correctly. Thought maybe if worded slightly differently in a single page with release numbers, I would get it.

But, maybe now is not the right time to ask as this is progressing rather rapidly.

The versions in active maintenance or development are those in https://vanilla-dpup.github.io/.

At the time of writing, these are 9.3.x, 10.0.x and 11.0.x. If there's any specific difference between these versions that is not documented anywhere but important to know, please state what it is.

If you want to know what's changed in every bugfix releases, 9.3.x has super detailed changelog at viewtopic.php?t=7656. All changes are documented and explained.

10.0.x is built from the same woof-CE tree 9.3.x and once it's out of beta and has a final release, I'll start a combined changelog for 9.3.x and 10.0.x.

11.0.x is in early development and has no changelog.

@dimkr
Got to bite the bullet and try this out.
Fingers crossed all my hardware works.

I didn't realise so much has been applied so far regarding new applications/processes.
