@eyespy
SLC64 has been built from woof (woof-CE build script) It's not a remaster of an existing distro.
There is no bare bone version of SLC64 if you mean this.
I think in relation to included applications the size of 383 mb is absolute okay.

Yes, virtualbox-6.1.22-144080-x86_64.sfs contains the VBoxGuestAdditions.iso.
it's located in /opt/Virtualbox/additions/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso

.
VMware Horizon Client is another application
it is a software that establishes a connection between endpoint devices and Horizon View virtual desktops and applications.

Hi norgo, :D

Indeed VMware Horizon Client looks like an incredible program I am finding it hard to believe it's freeware & just for those who may call in on this particular distro (SLC_64) I found this Utube demo video which explains in layman's terms what Horizon 8 Demo for IT Admins is capable of the video is 9:26Mins long. Although this demo is for Windows I'm sure it translates to Linux with some subtle differences
See here:

Yes this clears up my question in respect of SLC_64 the fog dissipates

This also clears up a question also as to the location of VboxGuestAdditions

Many thanks norgo for the links to describe VMware Horizon

Just to throw Clarity's comments into the mix, see page 6 - 2nd post up from the bottom in respect of Qemu do you think in the future Qemu (KVM) would be a alternative or possibility in the future production of SLC_64 this person certainly makes a good case for it?

Best Regards,
David :thumbup:
