Re: riseup-vpn errors (BookwormPup64 10.0.4)

Hi all My server list text file is empty now therefore it cannot connect to a server. Can someone share this with me? It is found in the .risevpn directory in /root It is simply a text file of their named servers. Thanks in advance  I think, something changed with the API, I'll take a look...

Re: riseup-vpn errors (BookwormPup64 10.0.4)

OscarTalks I was just wondering if something in your client script could address DNS in some way, as many users will have that situation of the network manager sending lookups to the router gateway which obviously is then sent to the ISP DNS Thank you for your advice, I will look into it. I'm quite...

Re: gtkdialog-splash, gifs do not work

gtkdialog-splash.png gtkdialog-splash -timeout 3 -icon '/root/Downloads/icon_e_confused.gif' -text 'GIF works!' icon_e_confused.gif was downloaded from @mikewalsh's previous post. are you asking if a GIF can be used instead of a 'static' image? Simple answer is, I don't think it can. Gtk-dialog is ...

Re: gtkdialog-splash, gifs do not work

As mentioned, gtkdialog-splash -h shows the following for the icon flag: -icon GTK-XXX (for example: gtk-info all gtk-stock-symbols, default: none) OR path/to/pixmap.png| gif |jpeg|svg So, I'm just trying to find out if there is something that I'm not doing right, It appears, then, that GIFs do not ...

gtkdialog-splash, gifs do not work (solved)

gtkdialog-splash's help reads:

Code: Select all

-icon GTK-XXX (for example: gtk-info all gtk-stock-symbols, default: none)
    OR path/to/pixmap.png|gif|jpeg|svg

Has anyone successfully used a GIF?

My questions were answered, thanks to all of you for the valuable input.

@xx_T3n0ch_X This is the dialog box I am referring to. This is reduced by 50% on a 1920x1080 monitor. https://i.ibb.co/nnGbJD9/Screenshot.png I did remove the entry here but that makes no difference. https://i.ibb.co/hfDCyZL/Screenshot-1.png wtf, I never seen that before, could it be the yad version?

EasyOS does not remember my display settings, external monitor ONLY on a laptop.

EasyOS is in frugal mode. My setup is a laptop connected to an external monitor via an HDMI cable, using zarfy I can adjust to my preferred setting, which is to use only the external monitor, but It does not survive the reboot, yes I save the session.

SFS download information window is intrusive

The title explains it, I was not able to send the window to the back of the Desktop, nor was I able to change its size, hence, I couldn't keep working while the download finished, it is something silly but very annoying to most users.
